Shamaree is a Detroit native, having attended a private K-8 school (St.Mary of Redford), and the well-known Lewis Cass Technical High School. She received her Bachelor Degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and her M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University.Shamaree has over 9+ years of experience in the field of education ( early childhood, English Language Arts, and College and Career Readiness). She is a mother of two young children, a wife, and a lifelong educator. Her experience as an educator in inner-cities, and commitment to youth development, is what inspired her to start Geared for Greatness-G4G LLC. As former high school Varsity Tennis Captain- she understands the positive impact sports has on youth.

Thomas Gordon is a Detroit native. He attended Detroit Public Schools K-12 including the great Lewis Cass Technical High School. He then went on to be a student athlete, playing football on a full-ride scholarship at The University of Michigan. Upon graduating, he had the opportunity to briefly play in the NFL for the NY Giants, and then in the CFL for the Toronto, Argonauts. He served as a College Strength and Conditioning Coach at Georgia Tech for 2 years. Currently, he serves as a Middle School Teacher in Southwest, Detroit.
